Functional X

Work hard, sweat harder - our main programming stream is designed to deliver bang for buck value. Functional X provides a total body workout that brings you the best of strength training with metabolic conditioning. Expect to be challenged, learn some new skills, and leave your session with that sweet endorphin high. With short bursts of intensity mixed with recovery, you can expect to empty the tank but not get broken in the process. This program is accessible to all ages, experience levels and abilities. Our experienced coaching team will tailor solutions to your needs.

Intensity rating - moderate to high over a mix of short to moderate durations

Endurance

If improving your muscular endurance and cardiovascular capacity is on your bucket list, you’ll want add these sessions to your weekly routine. Any friends wanting to train for a future Hyrox competition, these sessions are for you. Our sled track will definitely get some use in this program.

Barbell

If you want to be strong, explosive and powerful - come join us for our barbell classes. These sessions while chilled won’t disappoint. Expect some big things from this class that translate well into other fitness and lifestyle activities. Designed to improve your olympic and weight lifting, there are skills to be learnt and a tonne of fun to be had. Designed for the newbies and the experienced weightlifters, this class is the perfect balance between building skills, honing in on your technique, working hard (for short efforts), and lots of rest between sets.

Body Building

Queue “Arnold” by Luke Million and bring all the energy! If you want well rounded strength and hypertrophy, include our body building programming as part of your training regime. Building a strong and resilient foundation is a game changer for daily life and overall athleticism. Feel the burn while getting your pump on. Only good vibes here!

Gymnastics

Moving our own body weight with ease is an important and necessary part of living a healthy lifestyle. Building on this, we will explore a range of gymnastics skills to help improve the way you move, as well as increase your proficiency in other programs we offer. Skills will range from single leg balancing to skipping movements, pull ups to push ups, all the way to learning ring muscle ups and handstand walking. Our drills and progressions will help you level up your training over some relaxed vibes and a lower tempo. We know that learning new skills as an adult can sometimes make us nervous, so these sessions are designed to put you at ease in a safe and comfortable learning environment.

Restore & Recover

We mean it when we stay train hard, but recover harder. At IONIC, we believe in giving the body and brain the space to recover and adapt, so we’ve intentionally built that time in for you. Performance, health and longevity are deeply connected to the right restoration and recovery activities. When you attend one of these sessions, you will focus on restoring your body’s elasticity, range of motion, and helping realign your body to its optimal positioning. We’ll focus on different themes in a programming block eg. hips and lower back, creating opportunities for you build intensity as you choose. Come in, switch off, and reconnect with yourself.
