Adam Wood
Coach & Cofounder
Adam’s background in AFL, cricket, basketball, and track & field laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for movement and teamwork. A series of injuries — including a knee reconstruction — shifted his focus toward rehabilitation, strength, and proper technique. When yoga entered the picture in the early 2000s, it added a new layer: balance. Physically, mentally, and in life.
After over a decade leading construction teams and managing multimillion-dollar projects, Adam felt the pull toward something more meaningful. Health and fitness had played such a big role in his own life that he knew he wanted to help others experience the same. CrossFit gave him the final nudge, and it wasn’t long before he was coaching and building his own community.
An early enquiry from a family looking for PT support for their son with special needs opened up a whole new direction. Adam instinctively said yes — and discovered a real passion for inclusive training. He’s continued to build strong relationships with NDIS clients, using empathy, patience, and consistent support to help people move with more confidence and independence.
Adam has spent the last two years coaching and training alongside elite CrossFit athletes in the US, gaining insight from a wide range of gyms, competitions and coaching styles. What drives him now is simple: helping people challenge themselves, push past perceived limits, and build the kind of life they want to wake up to.

Bo’s sporting journey started on the rugby league field at age four and continued through multiple representative and premiership-winning teams. Growing up in team sports taught him the value of camaraderie — something he missed when injuries and the physical toll of working in construction forced him to step away.
That’s when he found the gym. After years of training and following structured strength programs, Bo discovered CrossFit — and everything clicked. The environment, the energy, and the support of like-minded people gave him a new sense of purpose. He got his Level 1 coaching qualification and, in doing so, found a part of himself that had been waiting to come forward.
Bo kept coaching while still working in construction, helping colleagues build strength and reduce injury risk on the job site. That experience lit a fire. He went on to complete his Cert III and IV in Fitness, along with other coaching qualifications. After sustaining multiple injuries — including a full knee reconstruction and three wrist surgeries — he made the decision to leave construction behind and focus fully on coaching.
He’s now working toward a diploma in remedial and sports massage and continues to learn from physios and health professionals around him. Bo has coached in the US and gained valuable exposure to different training methods, perspectives, and techniques.
His focus is on helping people feel strong, supported, and capable — whether they’re chasing athletic goals or just looking to move better and feel good doing it.

Courtney Halse
Coach
From an early age, Courtney loved playing any kind of sport. From the age of five, Courtney played soccer and continued competing until she was around 20 years old. During this time she represented the ACT at four National Championships and spent time playing with the Canberra United Academy. Courtney loves being active and playing team sports, particularly because of the strong sense of community and the friendships that develop through teamwork.
After finishing school, Courtney completed her Certificate III and IV in Fitness and began working at a boutique gym coaching small group classes and personal training sessions, while also working in the Public Service. With a passion for coaching came a desire to expand her skills further, so Courtney completed her training with the Strong Pilates Academy and became a Strong Pilates instructor. This sparked a genuine love for reformer pilates and its ability to build strength, control, and resilience in the body. Following her decision to leave the public service and pursue fitness full-time, Courtney went on to manage and coach at a Strong Pilates studio enabling successful outcomes for both her clients and the business.
Courtney is driven by her love for coaching and seeing people achieve things they once thought were impossible. Tarah Bradley
Coach
Tarah has always had a focus on sport and fitness throughout her school years, and discovered a love of strength training as an adult.
This passion for fitness and an active lifestyle led her to join the Australian Army, where fitness was a huge part of everyday life. During her time in the Army she tried every sport she could - Touch, Hockey, Rugby Union and League.
In 2019, Tarah left the Army after an ACL injury and decide to try CrossFit having ‘retired’ from team sports, but looking for more of a community while starting a new career outside of the military. This style of training and the level of coaching really resonated with her, and she embraced it whole heartedly.
Tarah’s passion for fitness has expanded into all kinds of activities including dabbling in mountain biking, hiking and running, which resulted in her running the 2024 Sydney marathon with her sister, Tegan.
Tarah began looking for something with a bigger community focus, and Coach Bo suggested coaching. She jumped at the opportunity and started coaching CrossFit in June 2024, and has never looked back.
Tarah knows it’s often the simplest cues that create the biggest improvements, and she puts a real focus into each person to help you feel more confident and get better results. Her style is relaxed and supportive, but if you need her to get her angry Army training (tough love) approach on, just ask. :)
